Cindy has been making herbal remedies for more then 10 years.

Years ago I traded the busy life of the Atlanta suburbs for the quiet country life of North Carolina. My family made our home on a 14 acre farm.  It was glorious!

Growing and canning food, raising animals and homeschooling my children became a dream realized for me. In that hidden haven, I learned how to care for my health and my family naturally.  There in the Appalachian foothills I found a love for and relationship with the plants that sprung up naturally underfoot.

I met wonderful people who would forever change my perspective on health and healing and ultimately my path in life. As I sought out mentors for herbalism and plant wisdom, a new world opened for me. It was through the kindness and knowledge of herbalists and folk medicine practitioners that I began my journey of herbal studies.  I learned to use vegetables in my garden to reduce a fever or draw out infection. We drank teas from medicinal herbs we grew to help us sleep or to ease stomach cramps.

Now my children are grown and I am reinventing my life without a farm. Although I miss those days of working hard for my food I am still working hard for my medicine. In Florida I have found another community of plant people. I am continuing my herbalism education at the highly regarded Traditions School of Herbal Studies.  I am selling locally some of the products I create.  It is my intention to offer tinctures, salves and teas that may help you and inspire you to dig deeper into the world of plant wisdom.  You just may discover how powerful medicinal herbs can be and get inspired to learn which plant allies you need to create your own home apothecary.

Every ingredient is chosen with intention when being added to our products. What I can’t grow myself, I source from organic suppliers.

Pure Essential Oils

Purity: Find an oil that contains only aromatic plant compounds, without additives or synthetic oils. Pure oils usually list the plant's botanical name (such as Lavandula officinalis) rather than terms like “essential oil of lavender.”

Spices

A spice is a seed, fruit, root, bark, or other plant substance primarily used for flavoring or coloring food. Spices are distinguished from herbs, which are the leaves, flowers, or stems of plants used for flavoring or as a garnish.

Flowers

Flowers bring joy to our faces and light up our lives. Being around them simply makes us feel better, and scientific studies have shown that flowers in a hospital room can even help us heal faster by promoting lower stress and perceived pain levels.
